Colour

Tiji Colour

Tiji – Colour by Akama is an animated short about a black and white forest that is colored in vibrant hues under our eyes except for one sad little panda, which sets off the compassion of an imaginative little boy. In a black and white (some might say dull world), a splash (a paintbrush) of color really goes a long way.

This is a wonderful animated story which captures the  importance of colour, not just in our artwork but our everyday lives. Without it the world would seem mundane and boring. Colour is not just something derived from the spectrum of light but it can often represent real emotions, inspirations and experiences.

One of the few famous artists to carry out artwork in black and white include Frank Helmut Auerbach. A German painter born in the 1930’s  is well known for his portraits and city scenes. His figurative style deals with the attempt to resolve the experience of being in the world in paint.

Precioso y colorista video. Que gran imaginación, me recuerda los cuadernos que pintamos con los lápices de colores.
